2026 Conference

We are pleased to confirm the Call for Papers for the BAM2026 Conference are now available. This year marks our 40th Anniversary and as we celebrate this incredible milestone, we are rolling out an expanded calendar of events and initiatives designed to honour our past and shape the future of management scholarship.

The BAM2026 Conference will take place on the 7th September (virtual day) with the in-person days of the Conference from the 9th - 11th September. The Conference is hosted by Royal Holloway, University of London. 

Dates of the Conference can be found below:

  • MONDAY 7 SEPTEMBER – VIRTUAL CONFERENCE DAY
  • TUESDAY 8 SEPTEMBER – DOCTORAL SYMPOSIUM 
  • WEDNESDAY 9 SEPTEMBER – CONFERENCE IN-PERSON DAY 1 
  • THURSDAY 10 SEPTEMBER – CONFERENCE IN-PERSON DAY 2 & Gala Dinner
  • FRIDAY 11 SEPTEMBER – CONFERENCE IN-PERSON DAY 3 (half day)

The theme of the Conference is Thriving Together: Impact, Innovation, and Inclusion in Business and Management

Similar to the BAM2025 Conference, we have taken the decision to hold the Conference in a split hybrid model and will include the extra half day in person. With our commitment to make events sustainable and accessible to all, a number of virtual elements will be incorporated within the programme.

Key dates for submission:
  • 7th January 2026: Paper/PDW Submission Opens
  • 27th February 2026:  Paper Submission Closes - deadline is 23.59 GMT
  • 24th April 2026: PDW Submission Closes
  • 27th April 2026: Conference Registration Opens
  • 21st - 30th April 2026: Authors Notified of Paper Acceptance Status
  • 12th June 2026: Deadline for at least ONE author of a paper to Register
  • 3rd July 2026: Final Paper Upload 
  • 31st July 2026: Deadline for Early Bird Registration
  • 21st August 2026: Conference Registration Closes
