Dr Anna Dubiel is Lecturer in Marketing at King’s Business School, King’s College London, UK. She received her Ph.D. from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Vallendar, Germany. Her research interests lie in the field of international innovation and R&D management. She has published in the Journal of Product Innovation Management, International Marketing Review, Industrial Marketing Management, and contributed to edited volumes of the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA).

Dr Muhammad Mazhar is a Senior Lecturer in Sustainability at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, UK. He is also the Sustainability Coordinator of the Business School, aiming to help embed sustainability in teaching, research, operational and partnership activities. By background, he is a Civil Engineer having B.E. in Civil Engineering and MSc. in Construction Management. He holds PhD in Sustainability and Carbon Management. His interest is in sustainability, energy & carbon management, education for sustainable development and low carbon smart cities.

Neil Pyper joined Birmingham Business School in January 2025 as Associate Professor in Strategy and International Business. Previously, he was Head of Education and Student Experience in the Faculty of Business and Law at Birkbeck, University of London. Before joining Birkbeck in 2020, he was an associate professor at Coventry University. Prior to embarking on an academic career in 2012, he spent eleven years as a political risk consultant, specialising in Latin America.
Neil is a specialist in strategic foresight, and has published on scenario analysis. He is co-author of a textbook called Technology Strategy, which was published by Red Globe Press in 2019. He is also a specialist in the political economy of Latin America. and co-edited the book Corporate Governing in Latin America: The Importance of Scandals to Institute Change, which was published by Palgrave in 2023. He is currently working on a textbook on decision making.
Neil leads an MBA module on international business at Birmingham Business School and teaches on several modules on the MSc International Business. He has experience of teaching a range of international business modules at multiple institutions. He also has significant experience of teaching decision making, strategy and strategic leadership at all levels.

Lesley-Ann Gunton was a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management and programme leader for the suite of MBA programmes at the University of Sunderland. Lesley-Ann joined academia in 2014 following a career as a HR practitioner in the UK Civil Service and has not looked back, revelling in the challenges, and rewards, involved in teaching in higher education. She has designed and delivered HRM modules to a diverse range of students, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with a focus on sharing her passion for all things HR related.
