The Doctoral Networking Café aims to facilitate doctoral and early career researchers networking. The BAM Project Experiences (PREX) SIG wants to provide a platform where researchers in the early stages of their research journey discuss their research in interactive networking sessions.

This month, Dr David Eggleton will join us to discuss his journey from a young naïve would-be scientist into the slightly less young but still naïve project management social scientist.

Along the way we will see the many pitfalls he fell into and some that he managed to avoid. What will emerge is the chaotic pathway that many people experience, with serendipity playing a disproportionate role.

This session will be followed by a Q&A session, answered by both Dr David Eggleton and Dr Nicholas Dacre, Associate Professor of Project Management, Director of the Advanced Project Management Research Centre at the University of Southampton.

The Doctoral Networking Café sessions take place on the last Wednesday of the month every second month.
