Description

We are delighted to invite you to attend a one-hour interactive online session exploring innovative methods in work psychology. This will explore emerging and innovative methods in organisational psychology. There is a long history of work psychology as positivistic and largely quantitative in its empirical application. More recently many streams of work have evolved that advocate for the use of research that is pluralistic, and the celebration of both qualitative and quantitative methods has gained traction. With that acceptance has come a wealth of interest in new research agendas that explore specifically how different methodologies can extend our understanding of the complex interplay between the employee and their work environment and build knowledge of underexplored phenomena.

The session will provide short spotlight examples of a number of methods that will illuminate both the conceptual, methodological and practical application of new techniques that are of relevance for academics and practitioners. Alongside the presentations the event will include a Q&A with a panel and the opportunity to build networks and a community of practice for further development and collaboration of the techniques explored.
