Description

Thinking about submitting to the British Academy of Management’s Management Knowledge and Education (MKE) Teaching Practice Conference, but not sure where to start? This interactive one hour workshop, led by Dr Claire Hookham, is designed to demystify the submission process and help you turn your teaching practice into a compelling conference paper.

Drawing on extensive experience in academic leadership and conference reviewing, Claire will guide participants through what makes a strong submission - exploring how to identify the value in your practice, align with conference themes, and clearly articulate your contribution to management education. The session will offer practical tips on structuring your paper, avoiding common pitfalls, and positioning your work for acceptance.

Whether you are new to academic conferences or looking to strengthen your submission strategy, this session will provide actionable insights, real examples, and supportive guidance to build your confidence.
The workshop will conclude with a dedicated Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, test ideas, and gain tailored advice on your own potential submission.

Join us to move your teaching practice from the classroom to the conference stage!
