Challenges of the Early Career Academic - lessons (un)learned from the Covid-19 pandemic

The Workshop will reflect on the experiences of early career academics, key lessons (un)learned and discuss how best to support ECAs in a context of changing attitudes to work and uncertain times.

Description

We would like to invite you to join us in the Final stakeholder workshop to be held in London on 12th June 2025 (11:30AM - 3:00PM) when we present the key findings of our project on understanding the impact of Covid-19 on early career academics' (ECAs) career life cycle.

The Workshop will reflect on the experiences of early career academics, key lessons (un)learned and discuss how best to support ECAs in a context of changing attitudes to work and uncertain times.

Join us to share your views about our findings, and contribute to the identification of sustainable solutions for shaping an environment that supports the career development of all ECAs.

We have a limited budget to support travel costs if needed, on a first come, first serve basis. Kindly register using this link. If you will be attending the workshop in-person, RSVP by the latest 30th May, and we will be in touch regarding travel and dietary requirements. Any queries can be addressed to the research team ([email protected])
