Dr Mark Loon receives Principal Fellowship from Higher Education Academy

Dr Mark Loon, Co-Vice Chair of the Management Knowledge and Education Committee, was recently awarded Principal Fellowship by the Higher Education Academy in recognition of his leadership in doctoral studies and work in digital learning (online and blended learning, and the use of simulation games). The Principal Fellowship recognises the holder's commitment and contribution to student learning, as well as the positive influence on colleagues as a strategic leader in teaching. There are now a total of over 143,000 Fellows in the UK and internationally, but of which only a small group of over 1,360 who have attained Principal Fellowship.
