Enhance your Career with BAM Training and Development Programmes
We emphasise the two core elements that comprise academic careers - Specialist Knowledge required to develop research, teaching and engagements excellence, and Community & Culture created through our practice: our inclusive approach, our respect for colleagues and students, respect for ourselves, to enable the flourishing of academic lives.
BAM offers four core training programmes: Becoming a Research-Oriented Professor, Becoming an Education-Focussed Professor, Development Programme for Directors for Research (DPDoR) run in collaboration with the Chartered ABS and the Development Programme for Directors of Engagement (DPDoE).
SENIOR CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES
Development Programme for Directors of Engagement (DPDoE)
This programme is for those leading or aspiring to lead the Engagement portfolio in the global business school and university community.
DPDoE is delivered as four sessions, which explore and inspire participants to think about how they lead engagement in their own institutions, by creating a culture that encourages, enables and supports colleagues to engage with individuals and organisations in what they do. Leading international speakers share their thoughts and experiences, as participants do with each other, to build a collegial and self-sustaining group.
DPDoE 2023/24 will start in November 2023 with four sessions taking place throughout the academic year, including two in-person at a central London venue and two online.
