Self-awareness is an essential trait for any leader and therefore any high performing executive team or board.
How self-aware are you and the leaders you work with? What does that mean for performance and how can you make it better? Where do people get that self-awareness from? Is it slowly learnt over time just by being in a job or is there a way to accelerate it, and therefore access the performance benefits more quickly?
In this workshop, the latest in the Voices on Leadership series, Katie Stanley will be using Lumina Spark, a modern psychometric tool to work with participants to develop a better understanding of their strengths and potential areas for growth, and sharing some tips for building self-awareness amongst the leaders and teams that people work with.

Katie Stanley
Katie Stanley is a psychologist with a powerful background in education and business. A life-long commitment to supporting leadership development and learning, combined with practical experience of working alongside CEOs and boards, Katie has solid insight into the challenges that leaders face day–to-day. It means she offers a rare combination of practical experience alongside psychological expertise. Katie uses Lumina Spark as the foundation for her individual and team development work.

Professor Karol Szlichcinski
Professor Karol Szlichcinski is Associate Director of Chartered Association of Business Schools' Centre for Management Consulting Excellence (CMCE); he has 30 years’ experience as a management consultant and was also a Professor at the University of Silesia School of Management, Katowice, Poland.
Dr Jeanette Hartley
Dr Jeanette Hartley is an Associate Lecturer at the Open University. She recently completed her PhD entitled “Management Consultants Navigating Competing Systems of Engagement” a study of how management consultants experience and manage the competing demands of their client, consultancy and personal life.
Prior to entering Academia Jeanette was a practicing Management Consultant with a global firm for fifteen years. This followed a career in Retail Banking where Jeanette held a number of Senior Management roles in customer sales, service and the formulation of retail channel strategy.
