Staged by the Sustainable and Responsible Business (SRB) Special Interest Group
Greenwashing and Sustainability are enjoying increasing traction in research and financial markets for the last 30 years. However, the interest of regulators, researchers and market participants has been shifting from using simple aggregated ESG data to data that examine the existence of Holistic Sustainability Business approaches.
The event helps researchers and practitioners to learn about these new developments and to find and retrieve data that trace greenwashing and examine and measure whether the company uses holistic approaches in sustainability, by building hands-on skills to PhD students, market participants and professors to recognise, obtain and use Greenwashing and Sustainability indicators for their research or career in sustainability to be able to be involved in a new level of studies in Sustainability for research and the private sector.
The purpose of this workshop in particular is to provide hands-on skills to PhD students, market participants and professors to recognise, obtain and use Greenwashing and Sustainability indicators for their research or career in sustainability to be able to be involved in a new level of studies in Sustainability for research and the private sector.

Dr Simon Smith has been working in Higher Education for nearly 20 years. He is Principal Lecturer in Business, Management and Enterprise at Oxford Brookes University.
Simon is co-Chair for the Sustainable and Responsible Business SIG at BAM and his research has developed over time to be very much focused on sustainable development, responsible management/leadership and better achieving the SDGs. Simon comes at this series as someone who has had some funding success, but happy to share his experiences with a view to improve success for all involved
