We are pleased to announce that, following their recent successful bid, Royal Holloway, University of London will host our upcoming BAM Annual Conference for 2026.
BAM2026 at Royal Holloway will be BAM’s 40th Annual Conference, which will celebrate both the academic achievements of management and business research over the past 40 years, but also how BAM has helped support and nurture academics into the diverse and sustainable community it is today.
The Annual Conference is central to the mission of the British Academy of Management and to our members who attend. In 2024 at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, over 1100 delegates attended in person - with 300 more joining online from over 58 different countries - to participate in a range of workshops, keynotes, panel sessions, and paper presentations arranged into 30 Tracks. The Gala Dinner, with entertainment from Nottingham’s Robin Hood and after dinner music was enjoyed in the magnificent surrounds of Colwick Hall by more than 400 delegates. We are also looking forward to welcoming everyone this coming year to BAM2025 at Kent Business School, University of Kent in Canterbury.
The BAM Executive Committee provides oversight in the tender process in shortlisting bids, including site visits conducted by representatives of the BAM office and Exec, which determines the final decision for Conference hosting.
Professor Emma Parry, BAM Chair, says
