NEW ASSOCIATE EDITORS SOUGHT
The British Journal of Management (BJM) is the flagship journal of the British Academy of Management and is now in its 37th volume, having been established in 1990 with David Otley as its founding editor. It is highly regarded globally, being rated as a ‘4’ in the Academic Journal Guide and ‘A’ in the ABDC list; its 2025 impact factor increased to 5.7 and its 5-year impact factor is 7.0. Its ranking continues to rise and BJM is now listed as 59/316 in Business and 77/420 in Management by Clarivate. In 2024 over 790,000 full text views of BJM articles were recorded. The journal continues to perform well and is attracting increasing submissions as one of the leading management journals.
We are recruiting additional Associate Editors and are interested in recruiting scholars from under-represented groups in order to increase diversity in our editorial team. We are also particularly interested in hearing from scholars who possess strong statistical and quantitative methods backgrounds and have expertise spanning areas such as organizational behaviour and human resource management, supply chain and operation management, digital transformation and emerging technologies, sustainability and responsible business from multi-disciplinary perspectives.
The new Associate Editors will join our growing team of 14 Associate Editors with a 3-year appointment.
Please contact the Managing Editor, Emma Missen, at [email protected] if you would like to apply. Please include your CV and a covering letter explaining your editorial experience and aspiration, as well as why you would like to be considered.
